another book. (If your publisher is not Prentice Hall.)
Frankly, if another good book about Icon is written, I would -hope- that they
NOT make the mistake of going with Prentice Hall. Prentice Hall has not only
NOT promoted the ICON books they have had, they haven't even DISPLAYED them at
all at their booth at major trade shows such as CeBIT. As a result of the
terribly limited distribution and lack of presence in the retail channels, the
language has not received the attention by the trade press or the public that it
deserves.
I would think that a new book ought to be pushed out through a publisher which
has a significantly better record of getting their books into the retail and
popular-book channels, so that more of the public will be likely to see it.
